%0 Journal Article %T Sugesti車n y cefalea %A Orbis Cos Parlay %A Efr谷n Semanat Mart赤nez %A Noelia Moya Hechavarr赤a %J Revista Cubana de Enfermerˋ-a %D 2000 %I Editorial Ciencias M谷dicas %X Se realiz車 un estudio comparativo preliminar con 756 pacientes que acudieron a la consulta de hipnosis del municipio Songo-La Maya, durante el per赤odo comprendido entre octubre de 1996 y mayo de 1998, con el prop車sito de evaluar la eficacia de la sugesti車n para el tratamiento de la cefalea y de calcular su valor econ車mico, en contraste con la terap谷utica medicamentosa. Para ello se formaron 2 grupos de 378 integrantes cada uno, que fueron tratados con uno y otro m谷todos, respectivamente. Los datos se recogieron en una planilla de encuesta elaborada al efecto y se procesaron por medios computadorizados. Predominaron los pacientes de 21 a 40 a os de edad y el sexo femenino; entre las enfermedades diagnosticadas prevaleci車 el estr谷s, seguido por la migra a y el catarro com迆n. Se concluye que la sugesti車n result車 efectiva para aliviar ese tipo de dolor y se obtuvo un notable ahorro por concepto de f芍rmacos, al no requerirse m芍s que el poder de las palabras para desencadenar su acci車n. A preliminary comparative study with 756 patients who attended the hypnosis office of Songo-La Maya municipality was carried out during the period comprised between October of 1996 and May of 1998, with the purpose of evaluating the efficacy of suggestion for the treatment of cephalea and estimating its economic value, in contrast to medicated therapy. To this end two groups of 378 members each were formed, who were treated with one and the other method, respectively. The data were compiled in a survey form prepaed for this reason and they were processed through computerized means. The patients of 21-40 years old and the female sex preveiled; among the diseases diagnosed stress was predominant, follwed by migraine and common catarrh.
