%X Se realiz車 un estudio investigativo, descriptivo y prospectivo con un universo de 194 pacientes ingresados con Insuficiencia Renal Cr車nica (IRC), en el servicio de nefrolog赤a del Hospital Universitario Dr. Gustavo Alderegu赤a Lima, durante el per赤odo correspondiente al 1ro de enero del 2003 al 31 de diciembre del 2003, se tomaron como muestra 180 pacientes que representaron el 92,7 % . Para la recolecci車n de la informaci車n se elabor車 un formulario con 8 variables, con el fin de evaluar la adherencia a las gu赤as de buenas pr芍cticas de enfermer赤a en pacientes con IRC. En nuestro hospital fueron egresados con este diagn車stico en el a o 2002, 238, de esos egresados vivos 217 y fallecidos 21, lo que represent車 el 8,8 % del total de ingresados en el centro en ese a o. En el 12,5 % no se midi車 la diuresis para comprobar funcionamiento renal, en el 7,7 % no se pes車 diariamente al paciente, en el 4,4 % no se cumpli車 con los signos vitales, en el 100 % de los pacientes se verific車 la administraci車n de una dieta hipo s車dica, en el 22,2 % no se orient車 la importancia de la restricci車n de l赤quidos, en el 5,5 % no se explic車 la importancia del cuidado del acceso vascular. En el 100 % se cumpli車 con el tratamiento m谷dico indicado, en el 1,6 % no se ofreci車 apoyo psicol車gico. A prospective, descriptive and research study was conducted in a universe composed of 194 patients admitted with chronic renal failure (CRF), in the Nephrology Service of ※Dr. Gustavo Alderegu赤a Lima§ University Hospital, from January 1 2003 to December 31 2003. The sample included 180 patients, accounting for 92.7 %. To collect the information, a questionnaire with 8 variables was made aimed at assessing the adhesion to good nursing practice guides in patients with CRF. 238 patients were discharged with this diagnosis in our hospital, in 2002, 217 are alive and 21 are dead , representing 8.8 % of the total admitted in this institution that year. In 12.5 % diuresis was not measured to verify renal functioning, 7. 7 % were not weighted daily, and in 4.4 % the vital signs were not taken. In 100 % of the patients, the administration of a low-sodium diet was verified. The importance of fluid restriction was not indicated in 22.2 %. The significance of vascular access care was not explained in 5.5 %. In 100 % of the cases, the medical treatment was fulfilled. 1.6 % had no psychological support.
