%X Han pasado 33 a os desde que dos baqueanos fueron los responsables del 谷xito de la expedici車n encomendada a Hans Niemeyer Fern芍ndez (1921-2005), cuyo objetivo era analizar la factibilidad t谷cnica de la construcci車n de un camino al sur de Tierra del Fuego (Chile). A lo largo de este documento se entregan no tan s車lo antecedentes fotogr芍ficos y escritos in谷ditos de esta expedici車n, poco conocida, realizada entre los meses de febrero y marzo de 1978, sino que tambi谷n, informaci車n sobre la vida de los baqueanos a los cuales se debi車 su 谷xito. El fruto de esta traves赤a es la actual construcci車n de la senda de penetraci車n Vicu a - Yendegaia cuyo fin es conectar a la Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego en toda su longitud a trav谷s de una v赤a terrestre. 33 years have passed since two baqueanos where the responsible men of the successful expedition entrusted to Hans Niemeyer Fern芍ndez (1921-2005), whose aim was to analyze the technical feasibility for constructing a road in the south of Tierra del Fuego (Chile). Throughout this document not only, photographic precedents and unpublished writings of this little-known expedition, made between the months of February and March 1978, are delivered, but also information about the life of the baqueanos who were the responsible of its success. The fruit of this voyage is the current construction of the penetration path Vicu a - Yendegaia whose aim is to connect Tierra del Fuego in all its overland extent.
