%X La sensibilizaci車n de los directivos con la realizaci車n de las investigaciones en sistemas y servicios de salud (ISSS) contribuye a la implementaci車n y utilizaci車n de sus resultados para la toma de decisiones. Se realiz車 un estudio descriptivo para identificar el nivel de familiarizaci車n de los directivos de enfermer赤a de los Institutos de Investigaci車n de la capital en relaci車n a las ISSS. Para su realizaci車n se aplic車 una encuesta en la que se exploraron las variables: conocimientos sobre las ISSS, realizaci車n de proyectos de investigaci車n que aborden sus l赤neas, divulgaci車n de resultados, toma de decisiones y puesta en pr芍ctica de los mencionados resultados. Los resultados evidenciaron el predominio de la investigaci車n cl赤nica en estos centros, as赤 como la escasa familiarizaci車n de los directivos de enfermer赤a con las ISSS para la toma de decisiones, aspecto que pudiera estar influyendo en los bajos porcientos de estos tipos de estudios en dichas instituciones. The familiarization of the managers with the conduction of research studies on health systems and services contributes to implement and use their results for decision-making. A descriptive study was carried out to identify to which extent the nursing managers at the research institutes of the capital of the country are familiarized with the health systems and services research. To this end, a survey was administered, which included the following variables: knowledge on health system and service research, conduction of research projects dealing with these topics, dissemination of results, decision-making and implementation of the said results. The results of the present study showed the predominance of the clinical research in these centers, as well as the poor familiarization of nursing managers there with the health system and service research, with a view to making their decisions. It is possible that this element is having an effect on the low percentages of these types of studies in the above-mentioned institutions.
