%X Para valorar el efecto del l芍ser de helio-ne車n (He-Ne) sobre la regeneraci車n del nervio ci芍tico, seccionado y suturado, se utilizaron un total de 72 ratas Wistar, que se dividieron en 3 grupos, los cuales fueron irradiados con He-Ne, luz de xen車n y luz solar respectivamente. Al grupo testigo s車lo se les realiz車 la secci車n y sutura del nervio ci芍tico. Lasratas a las que se les irradi車 el nervio con luz de xen車n y luz solar evolucionaron igual que el grupo testigo, es decir, se presentaron en su totalidad, lesiones tr車ficas de mayor o menor grado, as赤 como lesiones motrices. En el grupo en el que se utiliz車 He-Ne, s車lo se observ車 en un animal la p谷rdida de la una de un dedo y no se apreciaron trastornos motrices. La irradiaci車n con l芍ser de He-Ne tiene una importante influencia en la restauraci車n de las lesiones nerviosas en la rata To assess the effect of helium-neon (He-Ne) laser on the regeneration of the sectioned and sutured sciatic nerve, 72 Wistar rats were used, divided in three groups, all of them irradiated with He-Ne, xenon light and solar light, respectively. The witness group only received the section and suture of the sciatic nerve. The rats whose nerves were irradiated with xenon and solar light evolutioned the same than the witness group, that is, in their totality they presented trophic injuries of higher or lower degree and also motorial injuries. In the He-Ne group only the loss of a nail of a finger was observed, and no motorial disorders were appreciated. Irradiation with He-Ne laser has an important influence in the restoration of nervous injuries in rats
