%X Indagando en los referentes culturales que las pel赤culas sugieren en su puesta en escena, el presente art赤culo pretende analizar la representaci車n de la ciudad de Cali en t谷rminos de espacio e imagen en los seis filmes de ficci車n realizados entre 1971 y 1985 por El grupo de Cali integrado por Andr谷s Caicedo, Carlos Mayolo y Luis Ospina. A la vez hace una revisi車n de los enfoques con que se estudia la ciudad y la arquitectura a trav谷s de la imagen f赤lmica y propone un acercamiento a su dimensi車n espacio-temporal por medio del concepto de ※cronotopo§. Este an芍lisis sirve como base para establecer la tensi車n entre tradici車n y modernidad latente en el arte y la ciudad. Delving into the cultural references suggested by the staging of films, this article analyzes the representations of the city of Cali in terms of space and image in the six fiction films created by the Cali Group, consisting of Andr谷s Caicedo, Carlos Mayolo and Luis Ospina, between 1971 and 1985. It both presents a review of the approach taken to study the city and its architecture through film image and proposes an approach to its space-time dimension through the concept of ※chronotope§. This analysis will serve as the basis for establishing the tension between tradition and latent modernity within art and the city.
