%X This article explores the teaching of applied language in Department of Applied Foreign Languages (AFL) in terms of functional approach. More than just the description of a teaching method, so dynamic and often varying from one teacher to another, the present contribution is interested, in particular, in a successful implementation of the above mentioned approach in the process of knowledge acquisition in specialized language, needed for training and employability of foreign language technicians.
