The stages of this process were the search of national and international information about similar experiences, the development of a curriculum according to its special needs of personal and social development, the creation of guidelines of academic and administrative procedures that support the program, the diffusion of the program in the high schools establishments with special educational needs and to parents organizations, the selection of the petitioners, the search of the teachers, the fulfilmentl of the subjects of study and the permanent evaluations of the procedures. The program started with 36 students in March 2006, currently there are 44 regular students and 117 graduates. The results indicate a 58.9% job placement, a 46.2% increase in autonomy and an 83% overall satisfaction of families and students regarding the program. En el presente estudio se describe el proceso de implementaci車n de un programa de formaci車n socio laboral para j車venes con necesidades educativas especiales (NEE) inserto en un ambiente universitario. Las etapas de este proceso fueron, b迆squeda de informaci車n sobre experiencias similares, creaci車n de una malla curricular acorde a las necesidades estimadas, creaci車n de un manual de procedimientos acad谷micos y administrativos que sostuvieran el programa, difusi車n en instituciones de educaci車n media, agrupaciones de profesionales y padres, selecci車n de los postulantes, elecci車n del profesorado y propuesta de los programas de asignaturas .El programa se inicia en marzo del 2006 con 36 alumnos, actualmente se encuentran 44 alumnos regulares y 117 egresados.
