%X The present article aims to show the oppression of the Portuguese colonizer against the members of FRELIMO ¨C Mozambican Liberation Movement, which was registered in many testimonies and inside the short story of Lu¨ªs Bernardo Honwana. For this work, a historical context approach has been observed and an analysis of the discourse between the short story ¡°A velhota¡± and some real testimonies was drawn up.
