%X This article aims to think cinema as a game. Mainly taking the theories of Johan Huizinga as references, we look for possible analogies between the concept of games and Eduardo Coutinho¡¯s pictures and frame of mind. In this context, the director is also perceived as a player who throughout his singular cinematographic practice presents a body of work structured according to the ludic characteristics of games.
