Two decades after its appearance, the webcomics are easily found on the Internet, a space that provides artists to present their work without the barriers imposed by the publishing market. Although webcomics enable the development of a language coming from the digital media, it has not yet been commercially exploited properly. This research analysis three narratives produced in Brazil (Quadrinhos Rasos, Aquarella and Pixels) and aims to understand, through them, the characteristics of this new cultural product. To carry out this work we used the applied semiotics, since comics are a system of signs organized consisting of verbal and visual elements in a complementary relationship, as well as an analysis of the constituent elements of the narrative.
