%X This paper examines how the emergence of the style is related to the point of view construction in written media texts. Based on an expanded perspective of the study of style, not restricted to the problem of the author, this work suggests that the stylistic variation, personal or collective, is linked to the point of view construction, ie how the speaker takes his place in the speech in the midst of other voices and viewpoints. It is for this place that in discourse sets a personal or institutional identity. We propose a comparative analysis on how the styling emerges into two genres of the journalism domain: the opinion article and the report.
