%X Resumen: Este trabajo refleja la importancia que posee la econom¨ªa para formar ciudadanos activos y participativos capaces de entender los fen¨®menos econ¨®micos que observan en su entorno, considerando adem¨¢s las aportaciones que esta materia realiza dentro del ¨¢rea de las Ciencias Sociales. Destacado el protagonismo de la econom¨ªa en la sociedad, la ense anza y aprendizaje de esta materia y el estado en que se encuentra la investigaci¨®n en la did¨¢ctica de la econom¨ªa se presentan como un enorme campo de investigaci¨®n con m¨²ltiples posibilidades a la hora de estudiar diferentes variables. En este trabajo revisamos aspectos como las concepciones, actitudes, y formaci¨®n del profesorado de econom¨ªa desde distintas perspectivas, as¨ª como los diferentes elementos que afectan a la ense anza y aprendizaje de esta materia. Abstract: This work reflects the importance that has the economy to form active citizens capable of understanding economic phenomena that they observe in their environment, considering also the contributions that this matter makes in the area of Social Sciences. Emphasized the major importance of economy in society, the teaching and learning of this matter and the state in which is the investigation in the didactics of economy are presented like an enormous field of investigation with multiple possibilities at the moment of researching different variables. In this work we review aspects as the conceptions, attitudes, and formation of the professorship of economy from different perspectives, as well as different elements that affect the teaching and learning of this subject.
