El sistema educativo espa ol establece una serie de medidas para afrontar esta realidad pluriling邦e y multicultural. En este estudio nos planteamos explicar algunas de estas medidas para la atenci車n del alumnado inmigrante en el marco de la educaci車n inclusiva: mediaci車n intercultural, apoyo ling邦赤stico, programas de mantenimiento de la cultura de origen, etc. Ofrecemos tambi谷n datos estad赤sticos actuales sobre el n迆mero de alumnos extranjeros y su evoluci車n entre 2000 y 2011, adem芍s de su distribuci車n por etapas educativas, comunidades aut車nomas, tipo de centro, procedencia geogr芍fica, etc. Abstract: The continuous increase of the foreign population in Spain and, consequently, of foreign pupils, poses numerous questions. The Spanish education system establishes a series of measures to deal with this multilingual and multicultural reality. In this study we aim to explain some of these measures for attending to the immigrant pupil within the framework of inclusive education: intercultural mediation, linguistic assistance, programmes for maintaining the culture of origin, etc. We also offer up-to-date statistical data on the number of foreign students and their evolution between 2000 and 2011, as well as their distribution across educative stages, autonomous communities, type of school, geographic origin. %K alumnado extranjero %K educaci車n inclusiva %K datos estad赤sticos %K foreign pupils %K inclusive education %K statistical data %U http://iesgtballester.juntaextremadura.net/web/profesores/tejuelo/vinculos/articulos/r15/04.pdf
