%X Logistics is a crucial issue for small and medium sized enterprises (SME). This paper deals with logistical concepts for assembly systems. The IPH is currently conducting a project with the aim of developing a method to combine allocation and delivery concepts for assembly systems to increase the logistical efficiency of SME. Via this method SME are able to adapt quickly to changing market environments.
