%X El objetivo de este trabajo fue organizar ei material entomol車gico depositado en la colecci車n de artr車podos de Cenicaf谷 (CAC). Para cada especie se realiz車 la curator赤a, organizaci車n Filogen谷tica, as赤 como la recopilaci車n y adici車n de la informaci車n conseguida de campo, laboratorio y de fuentes bibliogr芍ficas. Toda esta informaci車n, por especie, se diligenci車 en un registro y se us車 para crear una base de datos que permiti車 el an芍lisis de las estad赤sticas descriptivas usando el programa SAS. Igualmente la informaci車n sobre colecci車n, dep車sito e identificaci車n, fue analizada por curator赤a utilizando un sistema de evaluaci車n 10 de niveles (SEM). La colecci車n de insectos de Cenicaf谷 tiene 5.843 espec赤menes que pertenecen a 16 車rdenes, 103 familias y 1.028 especies de las cuales hay identificadas 639. Las especies depositadas en la CAC se clasificaron como insectos ben谷ficos (48,6%), insectos da inos (48,9%) y el 2,5% no pudo ser clasificado. El 78,1% del material proviene del departamento de Caldas y fue colectado en caf谷, palmas y Erythrina. Cuando se aplic車 el SEN a las especies identificadas (639), se encontr車 que el 45% de las especies est芍n en el SEN 3; 9% en el SED 5 y 46% est芍n por encima del SEN 7. La informaci車n de las especies ubicadas por encima del SEN 7 puede ser utilizada para preparar publicaciones. En este nivel se encuentran lepid車pteros, hymen車pteros, cole車pteros y m芍ntidos. Trie aim of this research was to organize the entomological material deposited at Cenicaf谷 s arthropod collection (CAC). Por each specie, we performed museum curatory, phylogenetic organization, and recordings of the information gathered in field, laboratory and bibliographic resources. This  nformalion, was used to cr谷ate a dat芍base that enabled analysis using SAS program for descriptive statistics. The information in regards to the collection, depository, and identification was analyzed by curatory, using an evaluation system of 10 lev谷is (ESL). The CAC has 5.843 specimens that belong to 16 insect orders, 103 families and 1.028 species, 639 of which were identified at species level. The species deposited at CAC were classified as beneficia! insects (48,6%), harmful insects (48,9%) and the remaining 2,5 % could not be determined. According to the collection site, 78,1% of insects come from the Caldas department and were collected mainly in plants such as coffee, palms and Erythrina.
