%X This work focus on the behaviour of the suffixes -dor, -dora, -deiro, -deira, -douro and -doura on the formation of Portuguese deverbal nouns. We follow the ¡°Word formation Rules in interfaces¡± model, which is based on the coindexation of semantic features from the affixes and from eventive and lexicalconceptual structures of the verbal bases. We intend to give evidence of the contribution of each affix to the final meaning of the product. Although all these affixes operate in the construction of nouns of ¡®cause¡¯, ¡®place¡¯ and ¡®instrument¡¯, we observe that the products of each affix have a tendency for certain meanings. Those tendencies are explainable by the existence of semantic features in the affix that, in coindexation with the features of the base, produce semantic nuances in the products
