%X A classical thyroid hormone balance involves the determination of TSHus and / or FT4 and / or FT3. Many discrepancies torque TSHus, FT4 and / or FT3 can be attributed to the physiological or pathological conditions, but conditions for sampling, sample quality, conservation and the sensitivity of the assay are also frequently involved. A better understanding of changes in thyroid hormone balance during physiological and pathological guaranteed a perfect clinico-biological synthesis and an adequate care. The aim of our work is to propose a factsheet from a series of definitions to avoid the pitfalls of interpretation to improve the quality of care, while emphasizing the importance of greater collaboration between clinician and biologist prescriber.
