%0 Journal Article %T CLIMATE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE QUALITY OF SCHOOLS (TEACHING) / Kl¨ªma a jej vplyv na kvalitu koly (vyu by) %A Pa£¿ka Peter %J Technol¨®gia vzdel¨¢vania %D 2010 %I %X In the first part of the paper we describe the theoretical analysis of school climate and its impact on the quality of schools, and partly on the quality of teaching. We provide climate definitions (by various authors), climate functions from the perspective of TQM, types of school climates divided from different aspects and consequently its position in the application of TQM in schools and in teaching. To create a climate that affects the results of school work (series of inter-related factors) we use Se-ebauer's scheme. In the second part of the report we present a survey that was carried out using the semantic differencial method to determine the contemporary state of the school before the introduction of TQM.
