%0 Journal Article %T Felder¡¯s Learning Style Concept and its Index of Learning Style Questionnaire in the Slovak Conditions %A Lada Kalisk¨¢ %J GRANT journal %D 2012 %I Institute of Developing Politics %X This research study emphasizes the necessity of learningstyle awareness and assessment as a possible way leading ourlearners to their own learning process auto-regulation with an aim todevelop the key competence of life-long learning. It introducesa new learning style concept of R.M. Felder and the concepts it hasoriginated from, Kolb¡¯s experiential learning theory and Myers-Briggs¡ä learning type model. It offers the first results ofpsychometrical properties (reliability in the sense of stability intime) of Felder¡¯s Index of Learning Styles questionnaire (used in thetext as ILS).
