%X Vysok¨¢  kola mana mentu in Tren ¨ªn which offers courses of City University of Seattle has been using online discussion forums for more than 6 years already. During those last few years, the school was using more platforms for the needs of its online programs. Based on the long-term experience it can be said that the key to success is the teacher's approach and style of teaching and leading a course. The tool for communication between students and the instructor must be user friendly, because the final users should feel comfortable while working with it. The instructor is responsible for the course and for the discussion on the discussion forum. Na e sk¨²senosti hovoria o tom,  e hlavnym faktorom ¨²spechu je vyu uj¨²ci a jeho sp sob pr¨ªpravy predmetu a vedenia diskusii. N¨¢stroj na komunik¨¢ciu medzi  tudentom a vyu uj¨²cim by mal by   o najjednoduch ¨ª a u ¨ªvate sky nen¨¢ro ny, a to z toho d vodu, aby sa obe strany pou ¨ªvate ov c¨ªtili pohodlne pokia  s tymto syst¨¦mom pracuj¨². Vyu uj¨²ci je zodpovedny za chod diskusie a mal by zabezpe i , aby t¨¢to forma nebola nudn¨¢, ale interakt¨ªvna.
