It is focused on the structure of the motivation, which is compared with the outcome of the research of grammar schools' students in Czech Republic and on the gender differences in the motivation of students. The study comprises the analysis of the ability of teachers to identify the prevailing type of motivation of their students spontaneously as well.Pr¨ªspevok referuje o vysledkoch vyskumnej sondy zameranej na zistenie u ebnej motiv¨¢cie iakov 2. a 3. ro n¨ªkov gymn¨¢zia v predmete ch¨¦mia.
