%X Fethiye, a district of Mu la province, is an important center in which flat weaving activities have been carried out for a long time. Flat weavings have been done for a long time in order to meet weavers¡¯ own needs in the region. Weaving activities in Fethiye include the dye of yarns and the production of flat weavings via a variety of weaving techniques such as kilim, jejim, sili. There is not a professional marketing of flat weavings. However, there are families weaving make to order. Today flat weaving in Fethiye has lost its former importance. However, weaving is still in progress as a handcraft of indigenous. Fethiye flat weavings meet families¡¯ own needs, and sometimes contribute to the home economics by providing them income. In this paper, demographic characteristics of weavers, weaving purposes of weavers, information related weaving preoccupation, yarn, pattern, loom supplies, weaving techniques, the general properties of the woven materials, the current problems and solutions have been analyzed and the current status of flat weaving in the district of Fethiye has been presented. zetMu la  line ba l  Fethiye  l esi, eskiden beri d¨¹z dokumac l k faaliyetlerinin y¨¹r¨¹t¨¹ld¨¹ ¨¹  nemli bir merkezdir. Y rede d¨¹z dokumac l k dokumac lar n kendi ihtiya lar n  kar  lamak amac yla uzun s¨¹redir yap lmaktad r. Fethiye¡¯de dokumac l k faaliyetleri; dokuma ipliklerinin boyanmas  ve kilim, zili, cicim gibi  e itli tekniklerle dokumalar n ¨¹retilmesini kapsamaktad r. Dokumalar n profesyonel bir  ekilde pazarlanmas  s z konusu de ildir. Ancak sipari  ¨¹zerine dokuma yapan aileler vard r. G¨¹n¨¹m¨¹zde Fethiye¡¯de d¨¹z dokumac l k eski  nemini kaybetmi tir. Bununla birlikte halen y reye  zg¨¹ bir el sanat  olarak s¨¹rd¨¹r¨¹lmektedir. Fethiye d¨¹z dokumalar , ailelerin kendi ihtiya lar n  kar  lamakta, bazen de gelir elde etmelerini sa layarak, ev ekonomisine katk da bulunmaktad r. Bu  al  mada, dokumac l kla u ra anlar n demografik  zellikleri, dokuma ama lar , dokumac l k u ra  lar na ili kin bilgiler, iplik, desen, tezgah temini, dokuma tekni i, d¨¹z dokumalar n genel  zellikleri, mevcut sorunlar ve   z¨¹m  nerileri incelenmi , Fethiye  l esinde d¨¹z dokumac l   n bug¨¹nk¨¹ durumu ortaya konulmu tur.Le Tissage simple/ordinaire dans la r¨¦gion de Fethiye et son ¨¦tat actuelR¨¦sum¨¦Le district de Fethiye de la ville de Mu la est, depuis longtemps, un centre important pour la r¨¦alisation des activit¨¦s du tissage simple.
