A sufficient condition for the invalidity of the `principle of exchange of stabilities' is derived, in the context, which states that the exchange principle is not valid provided the thermal Rayleigh number $R$, solutal Rayleigh number$R_S$, the medium permeability $P_1$ and the suspended particles parameter $B$ are restricted by the inequality $frac{BP_1}{pi^2}(R+R_S)<1$. %K Double-diffusive convection %K Oldroydian viscoelastic fluid %K magnetic field %K suspended particles %K porous medium %U http://journals.math.tku.edu.tw/index.php/TKJM/article/view/800
