The proposed method is based on prior knowledge of optic disk center and optic disk diameter. The detection of this anatomical feature is a prerequisite for the computer aided diagnosis of several retinal diseases, such as Diabetic Maculopathy. The proposed method is evaluated on 33 retinal photographs from public DRIVE data set.
