%X Successful online education programs are paramount at higher educationinstitutions. In a recent study to examine the state of online educationalcommitment in higher education there was a diverse variety of academic andadministrative occupations. The wide range of occupations provided a viewinto institution-wide creative endeavors proposed to broaden the teachingand learning objectives of higher education. Principles, themes, implicationsand important aspects of online teaching and learning programs and theiradministrators from state and private four-year institutions with existing programswere explored. A major theme that emerged from the occupations wasa student-centered approach to teaching and learning.
