%X This article introduces the Medical Library of the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Firstly, history, role and status of the library within the University Medical Center are illustrated, followed by a description of the library¡¯s facilities and services. Finally, recent projects are presented as well as a selection of key figures.
