%X Resumen: El objetivo de nuestro trabajo est¨¢ en exponer el punto final de la argumentaci¨®n de Foucault acerca del cuidado de si cristiano (epimeleia ton allon), demostrando que la epimeleia ton allon cristiana est¨¢ muy relacionada a la modalidad de gobierno de las almas y de los cuerpos que Foucault denomina de pastorado cristiano. Intentaremos demonstrar como la recusa de Foucault en aceptar una aut¨¦ntica epimeleia heautou cristiana resulta en un inevitable v¨ªnculo de ¨¦sta con el nacimiento de la biopol¨ªtica moderna. Estamos dispuestos a evidenciar que era inevitable, para Foucault, hacer dichas consideraciones y llegar a esta conclusi¨®n, uniendo en una misma l¨ªnea epimeleia ton allon cristiana, gobierno pastoral y biopol¨ªtica moderna. En el trascurso de nuestro texto, utilizaremos los argumentos de Agamben, expuestos principalmente en su obra El reino y la gloria, en la cual ¨¦l trata del cruce de dos paradigmas: teolog¨ªa pol¨ªtica y econom¨ªa pol¨ªtica. Abstract: The objective of our work is to expose the final topic of Foucault¡¯s argumentation concerning the Christian self-care (epimeleia ton allon), showing that the Christian epimeleia ton allon is closely connected to the government modality of the souls and bodies that Foucault names Christian pastorate. We want to show how Foucault¡¯s refusal in accepting an authentic Christian epimeleia heautou gave place to the inevitable bond between it and the birth of modern biopolitics. Our argumentation aims at showing that it was inevitable, for Foucault, to make such considerations and arrive to this conclusion putting together, in a causal chain, Christian epimeleia ton allon, pastoral government and modern biopolitics. For such purpose, we will use Agamben¡¯s arguments, exposed mostly in his work El reino y la Gloria, in which he discusses the intercrossing of two paradigms: political theology and political economy.
