%X In the past years electronic books were booming at scientific libraries. E-books have established especially at medical libraries as an important part of the document supply in particular for students.The current interview with Klaus Bahmann (Springer), Peter Gemmel (Thieme) and Angelika Lex (Elsevier) informs about development, situation and outlook of e-books of three big scientific publishers. They spoke about the focal points in the supply and the diverse business models and the different estimation for the future development of electronic books.
