%X Se presentan cuatro casos de myiasis forunculosa en un grupo familiar que viaj車 a Cuba y a regiones selv芍ticas de Panam芍. A su regreso a Chile, notaron lesiones cut芍neas solevantadas, eritematosas y dolorosas, en cuyo interior se encontraron larvas de mosca de Dermatobia hominis, confirmadas por estudio morfol車gico. El tratamiento consisti車 en la extracci車n quir迆rgica o manual de las larvas complementada con tratamiento antibi車tico. Uno de los pacientes evolucion車 t車rpidamente y tres restantes favorablemente. A chilean family traveled to Cuba and to a rainforest region in Panam芍. At return to Chile they presented with painful erythematous swollen skin papules along their dorsum and thighs. The diagnosis of foruncular myiasis was made after identifying larvae of Dermatobia hominis by morphology. Three of the patients healed 2 days after surgical removal of the larvae and one of them healed after two weeks.
