The structure contains a range of non-covalent interactions, such as O¡ªH...O, O¡ªH...N and N¡ªH...O hydrogen bonds, as well as ¦Ð¨C¦Ð stacking [range of centroid¨Ccentroid distances = 3.4783 (5)¨C3.8059 (5) ]. The N¡ªH...O hydrogen bond between the donor acridinium cation and the carboxylate acceptor is particularly strong.
