%X En este trabajo se debate la tesis de Robert Nisbet (1965, 1969) respecto del car¨¢cter fundamentalmente comunitario del objeto de la sociolog¨ªa definido por Durkheim. Para hacerlo se recorren aspectos descriptivos y prescriptivos de la obra del soci¨®logo franc¨¦s. / This article discusses Robert Nisbet¡äs (1965, 1969) thesis on the allegedly communitarian character of the sociological object of Durkheim¡äs theory. In order to do so we cover both descriptive and prescriptive aspects of Durkheim¡äs sociology.
