%X La lectura de textos clave de la teor赤a de la modernidad en Weber 每como La 谷tica protestante y el esp赤ritu del capitalismo e Historia econ車mica general- podr赤a llevarnos a afirmar que la racionalizaci車n de la esfera econ車mica conduce a una constante impersonalizaci車n y formalizaci車n de las relaciones societales. Sin embargo, tal teor赤a presenta ciertos matices, tanto desde una perspectiva hist車rico-cultural como a la luz de algunas categor赤as sociol車gicas weberianas. El presente art赤culo, tiene por objeto complejizar las interpretaciones m芍s usuales de la teor赤a sociol車gica de comienzos del siglo XX 每incluyendo la de Weber- en torno a la formaci車n del individualismo econ車mico moderno como epicentro del pasaje de los c芍lidos lazos comunitarios a los instrumentalizados v赤nculos asociativos. / By reading Weber＊s main texts about the theory of modernity 每 such as The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism and General Economic History- the con-clusion could be reached that the rationalization of the economic sphere leads to an ongoing depersonal-ization and to the formalization of societal relationships. However, his theory does have certain shades to it, both from a historical-cultural perspective as under the light of some main Weberian sociological categories. The aim of this article is to discuss the complexities concealed by the most usual interpretations of the sociological theory at the beginnings of the 20th Cen-tury 每including that of Weber每 concerning the development of the modern economic individual as epicenter of the passage from the warm communal bonds to the instrumental associative relationships.
