%X The objective of the case study is to learn of the role that work plays in the life of former prison inmate, how thisperson faces the world after his release from prison and how work affects his post-prison social relations. We seekto verify, specifically, whether work helps a former prisoner not be a recidivist. To this end, we adopted as researchmethodology the method of collecting the life history, examining, then, the subjective and objective conditions ofthe research subject from the perspective of Work Psychology and Psychosociology.
