%0 Journal Article %T Sorption Studies of Uranium on Mesoporous MCM-41: Effect of Synthesis Conditions %A Hamid Sepehrian %A Ali Malekynejad %J International Journal of Industrial Chemistry %D 2011 %I Springer %X In this paper, mesoporous MCM-41s have been prepared in various conditions (with C16TAB or C12TAB as template, three different molar composition and hydrothermal or non-thermal conditions) and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption-desorption measurements, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show Kd value of uranium on the synthesized mesoporous MCM-41 by C12 has been enhanced.
