%X Neste artigo apresento algumas das minhas pesquisas sobre a tradu  o de Freud e seu impacto em uma leitura contemporanea de sua obra. A partir da palavra  Trieb  (puls o/instinto) procuro demostrar que a teoria freudiana ¨¦ de atualidade por apresentar uma teoria integrativa corpo-c¨¦rebro-mente. --------------------------------------------------- Las nuevas investigaciones traductol¨®gicas y la actualidad cient¨ªfica de Freud. En este art¨ªculo presento algunas de mis investigaciones sobre la traducci¨®n de Freud y su impacto en una lectura contempor¨¢nea de su obra. Partiendo de la palabra  Trieb  (pulsi¨®n/instinto) trato de mostrar que la teor¨ªa freudiana es de actualidad por ser integradora de cuerpo, cerebro y mente. ---------------------------------------------------- New translation research and current scientific developments regarding Freud. In this article I present some of my research into translating Freud and the impact translation has on contemporary readings of his work. Beginning with the word  Trieb  (drive/instinct), I attempt to show that Freudian theory is topical because it integrates body, brain and mind.
