%X A phytochemical investigation was conducted on the bark of Salvadora oleoides Decne. (Salvadoraceae). Two Sterols compounds, ¦Â-sitosterol and stigmasterol, were isolated using chromatographic means. Their structures were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic (IR, MS, NMR) data analysis and by comparison of the data obtained with those of the literature.
