%X cultures and background communicate with one other. During this interpersonal and international communication, translation plays an indispensable and important role in reforming Chinese critical discourse. Also, the function of translation today in China has shifted from mere persuing a language rendition to transmitting culture. This function shifting needs a balanced and equal exchange for the Chinese scholars to communicate with the international colleagues. Key words: Globalization; Translation; Chinese culture
