%X Reading a map is more than appreciate its apparent meaning, given the historical background that surrounds determined place and time as its know-how of planning and constructing it. Reading a map critically implies learning, appreciate, decode and interpret, analyzing both the form and its structure and function. The construction technique infers and interferes in the subject¡¯s reading and understanding,considering mainly the school maps whose contents represent concrete situations at school context. By deciding to provide a map for a reader-student, the teacher needs to consider the content, form, meaning and the material quality that will be presented, because this decision must enable clarity for the enunciation
