The phenolic compounds extracted from the leaves of these species, were separated by one-dimensional chromatography and total content of phenolic compounds was measured. In order to determine the relations among the species according to the phenolic spots distribution, matching coefficient and similarity coefficient were calculated and based upon these coefficients, species were categorized as two groups. Also it was found that total content of phenolic compounds is an important factor in the distinction of these species. %K Salvia %K phenolic compounds %K Lamiaceae %K Iran %U http://docsdrive.com/pdfs/ansinet/pjn/2007/443-446.pdf
