%X The verb phrase in the Gizey language (N-E Cameroon) may include a centripetal or centrifugal particle (¨¢y¨¤ or s¨¢ ¨¤ respectively). These particles have various meanings besides the deictic spatial ones, namely aspectual ( accomplished vs unaccomplished) and evidential meanings and a meaning the Author calls ¡°nomothetic¡±, since Ego as a reference point may also establish whether a certain event is regular or unexpected.
