Here we present a novel content-aware image rotationapproach based on gradient map: first, compute the gradientmap for the image which describes object structure of theimage. Second, take gradient map into consideration, use ourproposed weighting bilinear interpolation method to rotateimage that combine the gradient value and the distancetogether to regulate interpolation when the pixel distribute inthe sharpness region.
