Group behavior amonganimals have evolved over the course of time influenced by theenvironment and the need for survival. Due to the simplicity ofthe nervoussystem in social animals like ants, fish, etc., theindividuals in a group perform basic tasks and followelementary rules which give rise to a group behavior. Aligningthe direction of motion along which a preceding animal isheading can give rise to correlation and hence ordered behaviorin a group. This is implemented in a group of Robots which areeasy to design and construct having few sensors and run smallcontroller programs. The individual Robots followstraightforward rules and perform simple actions giving rise toa correlated behavior as a group which finds application infire-fighting. The multi-Robot system is simulated in Webotsand the results are promising and can be adopted in real timeenvironment. %K Swarm robotics %K correlation %K ad-hoc Networks %K we bots. %U http://www.ijfcc.org/papers/116-F0026.pdf
