First, it offers a qualitative, typological perspective on control. It develops a complex typology of control based on its four key attributes. Subsequently, the complex typology is reduced to a moderately complex and parsimonious typology. Second, it offers a comparison of the control systems of the current 27 EU member states. This comparison reveals a relatively high degree of heterogeneity with respect to control; however, this heterogeneity can be, as was mentioned, simplified into a more parsimonious categorization. %K European Union %K National parliaments %K Typology %U http://www.cepsr.com/clanek.php?ID=476
