%X Los temas abordados en este estudio pretenden dilucidar la interrogante sobre cu芍l es el ordenamiento jur赤dico que rige al Estrecho de Magallanes, en relaci車n con los Tratados de L赤mites de 1881 y de Paz y Amistad de 1984, suscritos por las Rep迆blicas de Chile y Argentina, y la Convenci車n de Naciones Unidas sobre el Derecho del Mar, unido lo anterior, a los problemas que, eventualmente, se pudieren derivar tomando en consideraci車n que Chile en el a o 1997 ratific車 la citada Convenci車n. The matters brought up in this study will help clear up the question regarding which is the judicial standard that applies at the Strait of Magellan in relation to the Treaties of Boundaries of 1881 and those of "Peace and Friendship" of 1984, signed by the Republic of Chile and Argentina, and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, in accordance as follows, on problems which, eventually, outcome might lead to the fact that Chile in the year 1997 ratified the above mentioned Convention.
