%X This article discusses the methodological approach to evaluating the effectiveness of budget funds for social services (case study health care), identified factors that influence the final results of the functioning of the health sector. The authors have developed a system of indicators that assist to provide comprehensive evaluation of availability of health care services and expediency of budgetary expenditures for its provision. The direction of regional policy was formulated.
