El metabolismo de este hongo es controlado por m迆ltiples factores que incluyen el desarrollo, las caracter赤sticas del medio y el reloj circadiano. El estudio de la regulaci車n circadiana del metabolismo en este hongo podr赤a estar enmascarado por el uso de medios restrictivos que suprimen su crecimiento y desarrollo. En el presente trabajo se estudi車 la variaci車n en el tiempo de la actividad de la enzima Succinato Deshidrogenasa durante 24 horas en medio completo sin restricci車n para la conidiaci車n en cepas de Neurospora crassa r赤tmica y arr赤tmica. Se encontr車 una variaci車n circadiana en la actividad enzim芍tica de la cepa r赤tmica con valores altos en las horas correspondientes a la noche y bajos durante el d赤a. Este hallazgo resalta la importancia de profundizar en el estudio del control circadiano sobre el metabolismo de este hongo, con base en la existencia de v赤as de regulaci車n m迆ltiples sobre las enzimas del metabolismo y de mecanismos post-transcripcionales y transcripcionales de control circadiano. Neurospora crassa is a widely studied model of circadian rhythmicity. In this fungus, metabolism is controlled by multiple factors which include development, medium characteristics and the circadian clock. The study of the circadian control of metabolism in this fungus could be masked by the use of restrictive media that inhibit growth and development. In this report, the presence of a circadian rhythm in the activity of the enzyme Succinate Dehydrogenase in Neurospora crassa is demonstrated. Rhythmic and arrhythmic Neurospora strains were grown in complete medium without conidiation restriction. A circadian change in the enzymatic activity was found with high values in hours corresponding to the night and a low level during the day. This finding highlights the importance of deeper studies in the circadian control of metabolism in this fungus, given the existence of multiple pathways of regulation of metabolic enzymes and a circadian clock control at the transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels. %K Circadian Rhythms %K Neurospora Crassa %K Succinate Dehydrogenase %U http://revistas.unal.edu.co/index.php/actabiol/article/view/27103
