%X En este trabajo se formula una propuesta para la reforma de la legislaci車n laboral venezolana, en materia de salario, jornada y prestaci車n de antig邦edad. Se trata de una investigaci車n documental y propositiva, basada en el m谷todo anal赤tico, en la que se abordan definiciones y caracter赤sticas de los aspectos mencionados y se plantean cambios c車nsonos con la actualidad del pa赤s, concluyendo que en Venezuela la reforma laboral se asume como un paso m芍s en la transici車n al modelo socialista, alej芍ndose de la realidad m芍s o menos generalizada del Derecho Comparado, constat芍ndose adem芍s, una mora legislativa de casi nueve a os, que parece demasiado tiempo para reivindicar los derechos de los trabajadores. This study formulates a proposal for reforming Venezuelan labor legislation in terms of salary, workday and seniority benefits. The research is documentary and propositive, based on the analytical method. It approaches definitions and characteristics of the aforementioned aspects and proposes changes consonant with the current situation in the country. Conclusions are that in Venezuela, labor reform is taken for granted as one more step in transition to the socialist model, drawing further away from the more or less generalized reality of comparative law. Furthermore, it bears witness to a legislative delay of nearly nine years, which seems too long a time for vindicating workers＊ rights.
