%X There are many rumors about meaning of the name of Kazan; yet none of them are accepted as final. It is exremely natural create a number of folk tales and myths about origin of the name throughout the time. Besides, the word Kazan has been included in Indo-European languages by some researchers. Because of the lack of resources, even though the precise meaning of this name has not been known, the word is Turkish without doubt.
