%X Young age, malnutrition,, leak of breast-feeding, exposure to unsanitary conditions are factors that increase susceptibility to severe bacterial infections. We present the case of a two month old male infant hospitalized in our clinic for severe gastroenteritis with dehydration and sepsis with Staphylococcus aureus.
